Lumi provides social media consulting services to organizations that attempt counter domestic radicalization and violent extremism. As online radicalization becomes a growing concern, it is imperative that organizations working to counter extremism not only move into the online sphere, but are also able to effectively reach those who are at risk. Lumi is here to do just that.
OUR MISSION
Lumi Media Consulting was founded in 2022 by six Duke University students who sought to counter the high rates of online radicalization. Through preliminary research, we found that while anti-hate organizations provide excellent resources to combat radicalization, they experience difficulty curating strong a social media presence. We created Lumi to serve as the link between anti-hate organizations and their online target audience by providing more effective social media outreach.
